The authority that issues an Export Registration Certificate is the office of the Controller of Imports and Exports (CCIE) under the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh.

Procedure to Get an Export Registration Certificate (ERC) in Bangladesh
Follow the steps below to successfully apply for an Export Registration Certificate in Bangladesh:
Step 01: Collect an Export Registration Certificate application form for free from the office of the Controller of Imports and Exports (CCIE).
Step 02: Duly fill up the application form.
Step 03: Deposit the required fees for registration and passbook at a branch of Sonali Bank or Bangladesh Bank. Then collect three copies of Treasury Challan.

2. An attested copy of your valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate.
3. An attested copy of the valid VAT Registration Certificate of your company.
4. A valid Bank Certificate as proof of your financial solvency.
5. An attested copy of the Membership Certificate obtained from a recognized Chamber of Commerce & Industry or Trade Association.
6. An attested copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of your company.
7. An attested copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of your company (in case of a limited company).
8. An attested copy of the Partnership Deed of your company (in case of a partnership business).
9. An attested copy of the Joint Registered Agreement of your company (in case of a joint venture).
10. A copy of the valid Citizenship Certificate of the entrepreneur, managing partner, or managing director of the company attested by the Ward Commissioner or Union Parishad Chairman.
11. An attested copy of the National ID card of the entrepreneur, managing partner, or managing director.
12. Attested copies of Passport and Work Permit documents (if the entrepreneur, managing partner, or managing director is a foreigner).
13. A copy of a passport-size photograph of the entrepreneur, managing partner, or managing director attested by a first-class gazetted officer.
14. 3 copies of bank Treasury Challan.
